Subject Description:
This subject puts emphasis on morality as embedded in the reality of every human being. It aims to form learners in the Christian way of life and to aid them in responding to God’s invitation of love and avoidance of sin. The subject covers Christian morality in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Church.
Course Objectives: At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
1. know the nature of Christian morality.
2. reflect on the relevance of living a moral life.
3. recognize that we are individuals loved by God, and in turn are invited to lead good lives.
4. acquire a basic understanding of the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes.
5. observe faithfully the moral precepts as taught by Jesus Christ and the Church.
